"The Flag"
The flag was waving atop the upright pole
And by its side was waving yet another
They were so alike in cut and soul
They might have been born to one mother
But their colour was what made them distinct
not the truth or freedom that they stood for
Once upon a time, but now nearly extinct
was a unity among us, that perverse passions tore
My 'country', then my 'society', my 'family' and ME
Is this really what our thought ought to be?
Vasudeva Kutumbakam, the world is one family
Om Loka Samastha Sukhino bhavantu, Shanti..Shanti...Shanti he...
